BAG will not be submitting any detailed comments to the Local Planning Authority until after our Open Meeting on the19th.* (now cancelled due to Coronavirus position, more information when known) However we have felt compelled to submit an objection to the minimal public consultation that has taken place for plans that must have begun over 2 years ago, see here

Plans have been submitted for one of Charterpoint Senior Living’s latest care home developments following a public consultation period.
Proposals for the 80-bed care home facility in Bradway, south Sheffield, have been lodged with Sheffield City Council in a joint application between Charterpoint and Cinnamon Luxury Care.
The four-storey scheme features private dining, a café, hair and beauty facilities, and a cinema, along with dedicated lounge and dining areas on each floor. Extensive terraces and a dementia garden have been incorporated into the development.
Director at Charterpoint Giles Nursey said: “This proposed care home development will provide first-class residential and dementia care facilities in a modern setting on a superb site.
“We are very pleased to have now submitted a planning application for the scheme, which, if approved, will pave the way for new top quality care accommodation in Bradway.”
Access to the site is proposed off Twentywell Lane.
